Care Connect: Book Discussion Session #2 Caregiver Support Group
Care Connect Session 2! Join us for a relaxed discussion of Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. Coffee, snacks, and support for all!!
Join us for Session 2 of Care Connect!
Following our amazing April kickoff, we are so excited to gather again for the second session of Care Connect—a community support group within the Jacob Way Wellness Connections series. This is a dedicated space to recharge, find strength, and build genuine friendships with other families navigating the caregiving journey.
What to Expect in May: This month, our theme is Stories & Support (Part 2). We will be diving into a guided discussion of our Spring book selection: Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman.
- Connect: Enjoy light refreshments and catch up with other caregivers.
- Discuss: We will talk through key chapters, share our favorite takeaways, and discuss how the book's themes of human connection apply to our own family lives.
- Support: An open floor to share what has been heavy, what has been light, and how we can support each other this month.
Didn't attend in April or didn't finish the book? Come anyway! There is no pressure or homework here. Whether you read every page, skimmed a few chapters, or just need a safe space to sit and have coffee with people who "get it," you belong here.
Who is this for? Open to All Caregivers Seeking Community. While our priority is supporting families navigating childhood cancer, Care Connect is open to caregivers of any type. Whether you are a cancer parent, a guardian, extended family, or a caregiver walking a different path, you are welcome here.
Excellence Room 3rd Floor !!
Come as you are, leave stronger. We can't wait to see you!
